BACKGROUND

Once an innocent child who had been living on a mountainside, Rosaria had her village raided by vagrants when she was young and was abducted by them and forced to learn how to steal as a means of survival within their ranks. On the cusp of starvation and desperation to simply live, she had eventually murdered the very man who abducted her, the same one she'd come to view –in some strange way– as a father and had earned herself a cryo-vision in exchange for the trauma.

Rather than remaining condemned to a life of near-starvation she'd been offered a second chance as a result of the kindness and generosity of the Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius Varka. Since then, she's been living her life in Mondstadt as a nun, feigning a vague sort of devotion to their patron god, Barbatos, but mostly slacking off on all her duties, chainsmoking, and hiding out at the local tavern. While she may appear to have a lackadaisical approach to life, she is in fact very devoted to protecting Mondstadt in order to repay the debt of having been offered a new life and a home by Varka when she could have been slain for her crimes like the other thieves. She's chosen to honor said debt by going out in the evenings and murdering criminals and vagrants who threaten the peace and livelihood of Mondstadt's citizens, delivering to the worst of them her own brand of merciless judgment.
